This place offers a fantastic farmhouse feeling, with an amazing rustic vibe and historical aspects. The Christmas decorations were breathtaking, and it was nice to have a traditional dinner in a cozy atmosphere. The outdoor space gave a pleasant feeling, with beautiful gardens and amazing views over the area.
The service can be disappointing, with staff struggling to speak English. We had to wait for a long time to place our order, and the food arrived cold and unappetizing.

My Christmas stay at this historic property was a true delight! the antique furniture and artefacts created an authentic feel of stepping back in time. the lovely gardens, complete with statues and ponds, were breathtaking, giving a sense of privacy and tranquility away from the hustle of the city. A delicious home-made Christmas feast and free-flowing local wine made the stay even more special. the welcoming staff ensured that we were well-informed about the local area and its history.
While the ancient setting of this property was charming, some facilities seemed outdated. However, overall this did not detract from a unique and memorable stay over the festive period.
